We used one of these walkie talkies in the film. It connotes being prepared and being a survivor.

this shows the stuff we used at 'the camp site'. Connotes survival and using remains of civilisation.

 This shows all the props from the radio scene. However, we also used some magazines that were lying just out of shot of this photo.
