 What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

I used Windows Live Movie Maker and websites such as Google, YouTube, and youtube-mp3.org

Windows Movie Maker is terrible: I couldn't get the music to stop at a good time. I wish I had technologies such as premier pro, or audition at home. :)
